... Arabs occupy mystical land of hostile deserts, tropical oases, magical carpets, genies, corrupt sultans, apt to steal bandits, scheming sheiks and sensual harem girls. This emphasizes the negative attitude western countries have towards the Arabs. Even in today’s films such scripting still survives but it has been usurped mostly by this new myth that: Arabs are terrorist who may not only be plotting the destruction of the west from the middle east but also the destruction of the whole world.

Bigotry and lack of tolerance to other's people's belief breed hatred. Why not give respect to earn respect in return. It is purely a bias stereotyping, I think.

I guess stereotyping is a product og long usage and establish norms among us people. But it breeds evil in various forms however.
