These devices is not suitable if one had to use particular wavelengths however if information like this was not needed to be quantified, a colorimeter comes with less costs so may I would perhaps use this device to minimize cost. It is also important then when plotting a calibration curve one does not force their line to pass through zero as the result you have attained may be more accurate than zero.
