Sports Ethics Introduction: The main aim in sports is all about overcoming hardships involved which include championship, scores and speed and individual bests. It concerns overcoming hardships that limit a fair field of play for everyone. When issues regarding social justice are considered, then a good number of sportsmen will be trailblazers as far as sports are concerned. The society at large and the mind of a human being focus on winning when it comes to sports. There are however a lot that can be learned in sports that cannot be compared to winning alone. Should this definition be accepted worldwide, then there would be a great leap in the development of policies in sports. It would be generally accepted that violence in sports is morally wrong and a few factors have to be considered in punishing the violent offenders. These are the intent (whether intentional or not) of the player, whether the violence is within the rules, if the violence outside the rules is acceptable and the scope of the injury inflicted.

Sports should serve as a catalyst for youth development in various aspects---physical, social, emotional and intellectual. That may be an utopian view, but government must strive to reach its target goal in making sports as an outlet to develop desirable virtues in children.
