Positive growth and developments, such as hasten technological advancements and neoliberal financial development, tend to chase common global trends; however, involvement in the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), is exceptional since it has made the country to make tremendous changes in its economic set up. Being aware of Mexico's famous prominence on state culture and position anxiety concerning cultural interference by the United States, individuals expected devoted open debate on possible impact of free trade on Mexico's culture as well as cultural business. However, the country being undeveloped, the government officials kept away from the matter, while educational researchers and community intellectuals united over the term cultural intelligentsia which paid attention on produce for Mexican culture and uniqueness.
