When I think back to my favorite childhood memory, I can still remember absolutely everything that was going on around me. The smell of sizzling fresh barbecue on the grill, ...... my stage fright. I still sometimes get up on stage for a song or two with dad's band. But I will always remember the first time.

...like so many of us sometimes nervousness could get the better part of us. But as a famous US statesman say, "we've got nothing to fear but fear itself." Your childhood experience of being able to face the audience and enjoying what you do is admirable.
