Database is important in our daily files.

Databases are everywhere. They are used everyday and in fact, we unknowingly came across it everyday of our lives. Your age, price of your grocery, the contact numbers in your cellphone and even the telephone directory is an example of a database. In our life, we encounter so much of data. Like for example, in the Philippines, the National Statistics Office (NSO) records the population of our country every year. But for them to memorize all the necessary information is just beyond impossible. That's why a Database was constructed to deal with such problems. At the most basic level, database contains tables. They are used to hold information that are needed for a certain thing. Inside the tables are the fields. Table fields tell us what information is being kept in the database. Databases allow adding, deleting, updating and retrieving of data quite easily, as well as sorting and searching. Designing a Database can be quite tricky and time-consuming. That's why before you begin, you must know what you will do and what you want to achieve.

There is also the thing that we call a Database where you can store and get a file easily and without any trouble. That is why it is very convenient for the people using and will be using it. Everything starts at bits. Bits are organized into bytes, bytes into fields, fields into records, records into files, record files may be organized into a database. We can say that a database is important to our lives, especially to those who are storing and keeping privacy and important files cause they can maintain their file in order and no one will have troubles hacking and taking them.
