Who said chivelery is dead?
Do young people still believe in that everlasting love at the first sight? Or do they still believe in love at all? It appears that your replies will be as various as your life experiences. But you can’t disagree that for the last 30 years the whole conception of relationships between lads and maidens has met a lot of changes. Back in the days dating used to mean a bit more significant, responsible and romantic process, then it does now. Boys would struggle a lot, inventing the whole strategies of winning their passion’s a heart. They would climb the trees, write poems, sing serenades with guitars and so on. Young ladies in their turn would proudly and innocently reject the courtships, choosing the most competitive and deserving fellows. It used to be quite likely to get the first partner in the late teens and to get married in the age of about 20. The key word for dating nowadays seems to be “ease”, as with the development of informational technologies you no longer need to make such hard efforts to find a partner as you did before. Social networks, mobile phones are always at your service. Also over the last years has rapidly increased the number of different entertaining establishments, nightclubs, restaurants and forth, that made it much simpler for young people to meet each other.
