General Practice Student Assistantship Case Report Introduction BE is a 75 year old lady who suffers from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), osteoporosis, diverticular disease and coronary heart disease. Over the years she has suffered from multiple fractures, diverticulitis as well as a myocardial infarction in 2001. In this case report I will focus on her most debilitating condition, COPD. History BE is an ex-smoker, having smoked 20-40 cigarettes per day for approximately 20 years. Her respiratory problems began in 1990.
