In this assessment, we are going to cover an executive country briefing of a small but successful country called Taiwan. Taiwan is my home country and our company is planning to invest with Taiwan due to its fast growing economy, its advantageous legal, political, competitive and technological environment. Taiwan is at the centre of the Asia-Pacific region, which makes it easier to access global resources at a very competitive price, giving a great financial advantage for companies to invest. With only just under 100 years of history, Taiwan has proven its speedy economic growth and its future development potential. We will be looking at a brief summary of socio-cultural environment, legal environment, political environment, competitive environment, technological environment, economic financial environment and physical environment of Taiwan, and the reason why it would be a great investment for our company.

... northern Taiwan – Japan, and right next to it is China with low cost mass production, as well as India and other Association of Southeast Asian Nations. The world’s largest economy, the United States has contributed Taiwanese economy as well as military bases located in Taiwan against China’s long term desire of owning Taiwan as part of China (World Military Forum, 2009, & Chang, 1965). However, there are manufactured risks including air and water pollution from heavy industrial emissions, contamination of drinking water supplies, low-level radioactive waste disposal are all the problems that may have an impact on our company in the region.
