Education, in the widest sense is conceived for the purpose of educational development. It is a social activity whose result is measurable only after a considerable time span. Education before is concentrated on 3R’s which means reading, writing and the arithmetic. But now there are many changes that happened because of the new technologies, so education today is highly advance than before. New technologies is highly recommended especially for higher education because of its advancement in all aspects of education.. The role of the teachers in education is more complicated than before. They are actively involved in planning and managing the affairs of their students. Teachers prepare student for a range of career pathways and help them develop their skills, habits and attitudes which they will retain over a lifetime ...





... teaching materials to use. If there is nothing to use, it is logical that program adviser can not perform well in their job or may not perform at all.
CONCLUSION
The following conclusions were drawn:
1. The Program Advisers of PSU are dominated by younger, female faculty members who are holders of a post-graduate degree, with lower academic rank, overloaded with units who have other functions aside from being Program Advisers.
2. In the level of performance of the program advisers, the study revealed that, the rating of very satisfactory performance of Program Adviser were given to functions related to participation activities and student activities. Lower ratings were given to function that possibly could improve the quality of their respective programs.
4. There are many problems that were encountered by the Program advisers, the most prevalent were in terms of lack of things to use such as lack of supply, lack of office and lack of teaching materials to use. If there is nothing to use, it is logical that program advisers can not perform well in their job or may not perform at all.
