Line Tracker Robot - A Special Problem

This project study provides significance for the student like us, since we have learned a lot from it. Not only regarding with the microcontroller or software used but even on mechanical aspects of the mobile robot (mobot). Aside from this, the study could also help those who really interested in robotics because of the program featured in this study, the Z8 Encore, which could provide several advantages over any other microcontroller.

Anteprima della tesi: Line Tracker Robot - A Special Problem

Chapter 1 THE PROBLEM INTRODUCTION The world of robotics has been the primary option in modern industries to achieved its maximum productivity. But to achieved this level of productivity there were factors that should be considered: a) the capability of the worker to do the job, b) the speed and c) its efficiency. These problems can be overcome easily by constantly training the workers to do the job efficiently. There are times wherein workers have to work in hazardous places exposing them to radioactive radiation. This should be very costly and hazardous to the workers. To overcome this dilemma robot should take its place. Robots are capable of doing this job efficiently without human intervention. Background of the Study PSU students, especially those taking up IT Courses are not totally aware in the field of robotics. The researchers will use the theories in electronic, communications and microcontroller to emulate the existing mobile robot. This study will design a mobile robot with its environment to perform a specific task. The task involves the detection and tracking. The mobile robot will follow the instruction assigned to it to perform. These instructions are basically ...

... stone is developing a more useful and interesting project. The flexibility of the program is more accessible to anyone.
B. Conclusion
After the group had finish all methods and guidelines, the group concluded that the sensing device is limited only in a given distance and directivity.
The types of motor to be use on a project depend upon to its application. Serve motors are highly recommended for a robot require torque. DC (direct current) motor is cheapest type of motor capable of providing high speed rotation. Having a circuit capable of providing variable output voltage thus controlling its speed can control movement.
