IMPACT OF INDUSTRIALIZATION TO THE NEW WOMAN EMERGENCEThe rapid growth of industries urbanization, immigration, occupational dislocation and different social lifestyles had contributed to the perception that conventional family taboos and sexual prohibitions were in the verge of total collapse as all this were to do away with this inhibition s to social; changes that were being experienced. This era mostly was to bring about various changes where some families feared that their innocent farm daughters could be lured into sexual lifestyles that entailed prostitution teeming with illiterate men. Sexuality matters The new woman emerged to promote the practice of effective birth control, regulate sexual prostitution, prevent the spread of venereal disease, and reduce the habitual sexual double standard.
