This project will handle about 1400watts, which is perfect for Lights, general electrical tools, computerised instruments, emergency power, computers, TV sets, radios, satellite receivers, fans, small water pumps, etc.
The internal resistance of the battery is very low and high electric current more over 100 Ampere flow through the terminal when short circuiting. So you must not make short circuits absolutely.
The load is connected directly to the mains through the inverter in case the mains fail and main purpose of the standby source is to ensure there is power when the mains supply fail.
