CHAPTER ONE 1.1 INTRODUCTION The increased development of electronic equipment and systems as led to more sophisticated machines and gadgets that for item to function properly require servicing and maintenance for better performance. This is achieved if the service technician has proper test equipment to analyze and test the faulty systems. The above problem can be solved by the use of function generator that provides test waveforms for easier analysis of the faulty system. They generate various test waveforms like sine, triangular and square which are useful in digital testing, HI-FI equipment, electronic workshop, colleges and research work in laboratories. Depending on the area of application, function generators bear a variety of specifications. Ranges of frequencies is of primary interest. Some applications require functions up to just above audio, these include audio filter applications. Some require higher frequencies, examples in amplitude modulation. 1.2 STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM It is required to come up with a function generator, ...
