PSYCHOLOGICAL, POLITICAL, HISTORICAL ASPECTS OF MARIJUANA INTRODUCTION The most considerable concern is the psychological, Political and Historical Aspects of marijuana. Even though marijuana has both the psychological, Political and Historical effects on its users and the society at large, it is true that to some extent, the positive effects of its use outweigh the negative effects. Marijuana was first admitted to the European pharmacopoeias about one and a half centuries ago. During the year 1839 W. B. O'Shaughnessy at the Calcutta Medical College stated that its use in the indigenous or original treatment of different disorders or diseases and found that just a tincture of cannabis sativa was an effectual analgesic or pain reliever, muscle and relaxant anticonvulsant.  In the subsequent several decades, several papers regarding marijuana appeared in the Western medical literature. Nonetheless, Marijuana was extensively used until the first decades of the twentieth century, particularly as a pain reliever and for soothing. The conditions together with symptoms and for which marijuana was found important included tetanus, labor pain, asthma, neuralgia, rheumatism dysmenorrheal, and convulsions. If ...

Legalization of the drug is also important for a number of reasons: to start with, the government may earn money some from taxes on its sale. On the other hand, we find that its medical value seriously outweighs its probable abuse and due to its significance to the clothing and paper industries. Its legalization should actually be considered regardless of efforts made by several groups and individuals, which claim marijuana is a dangerous drug that might increase the rates of crime and lead its users to some other more harmful substances.
