The new elect president of the United States of America Barack Obama came to office unhappy with the policies put in place by his predecessor President Bush. Both the foreign and domestic polices displeases him, he claims that the prosperity enjoyed were just merely founded on sand. He has new plans that will be able to erect America on solid rock; top on the changes the president wants to work push for include consumption of energy, healthcare system, foreign relations, economic bail out and green ...





... Obama has a plan to cut down greenhouse emissions by 80% in 2050. The U.S supports re-engagement with the UN strategy to climate change and has even proposed to establish new global energy forum that will include large consumers of oil (Perry 2006).
Conclusion
The pledges that were placed by Barack Obama to initiate change are already being implemented but with a few set backs from the opposition which seem to think he is over spending. To his critics Obama has cited successful economic stimulus of $787 billion, reversal of ban on funding of stem cell research by federal government and budget resolution.
