A learning disability in comprehension reading that greatly affects the learner's ability in understanding the meaning of words as well as passages. Alderman (1986) states that the students with learning disabilities in reading comprehension may well also have trouble with the basic or fundamental reading skills which include decoding words; however, understanding is the main weakness that these students have.
Some students who have these learning disabilities in the reading of comprehension can always read aloud with little or no trouble in the pronunciation of words, but they cannot be in a position of understanding or remembering what they have just read. Reading aloud, their words together with the phrases are normally read without any feeling, no variation or change in tone, no logical phrasing, and lack of rhythm or pace.

... instruction. Of greater importance is the implementation of these strategies in order to have positive outcomes. It is important to ensure that individuals with learning disabilities get access to an appropriate education. The educators serving these individuals should also be aware their needs and be in a position to meet them appropriately through the correct instruction. It is also important to understand the accommodation and planning the students having undiagnosed learning problems. Idol (1987) says that this can help them to be more successful and independent learners. Again educators should be partners with the students with disabilities in the use of the techniques and strategies of enhancing educational opportunities. The students also have a crucial responsibility in contributing to this success.
