Every worker faces the possibility of unforeseen joblessness. Because of economic, psychological and social hardships created by recurring periods of unemployment, the Unemployment Act of 1946 stressed the goal of maintaining maximum employment. Conceptually, unemployment occurs when people are able to work and would be willing to accept the prevailing wage paid for their skills but can’t either secure a job or is not yet secured in a suitable employment.

4.5 Data Cleaning, Refinement and Analysis
Data has been analyzed in the paper by the use of simple tables and line-graphs. Analysis in chapter five in postulated on the basis that wages in a sector depend only on the unemployment rate in the same sector.
