The current global financial crisis which has been brewing for a while, started to show its devastating effects on business and more so in employment circles in the middle of 2007 and into 2008.at the end of 2008 economies started experiencing mass layoff, with American economy being more affected than others. World over stock markets have fallen drastically, large financial institutions are collapsing at alarming rates or are being bought out, and governments are coming up with rescue packages to bail out their financial systems. On one hand I am concerned that those responsible for this mess are the ones being bailed out, while on the other hand, financial meltdown is affecting any good prospects for us newly graduated student of getting meaningful employment in America.
