The main focus is to undermine Iran's nuclear goals and try to destabilize the government through regime change. Bush’s ultimate goal has been government change in Iran either by diplomatic or military means hence stopping Tehran from obtaining nuclear weapons. Underground maneuver against Iran are not new, United State Special Operations Forces have been carrying out cross border operations ...
... Obama. More experts have referred to this issue of Iran nuclear plan as very sensitive and that it has a lot of queries to be answered relating to it (Schulzinger, 1994). And it’s well-thought that President Obama has to be very cautious about not giving away all his cards on the table. The proxy conflict in southern Iran is merely an additional difficult position that the Americans preserve to employ in playing hardball with Iran.
